CANBERRA, MAY 11/INDIAN ABROAD NEWSDESK
The High Commission of India in Canberra commemorated the birth anniversary of Rabindranath Tagore with a cultural programme organised in association with the Bengali Cultural Association (BCA).
The event featured floral tributes to Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore along with a series of cultural performances including Rabindra Sangeet, dance recitals, skits and dance dramas.
Among the presentations were performances based on Tagore’s works such as Tasher Desh and Chitrangada.
The programme brought together members of the Indian community in Canberra to celebrate the literary and cultural legacy of the Nobel laureate poet and philosopher.
