The Rotary Club of Brisbane International recently held its Diwali Dinner Meeting, a night that beautifully combined fellowship, food, and purpose. The event reflected the club’s ongoing commitment to fostering meaningful connections and driving positive change in the community.
The evening featured an insightful talk on mental health awareness by Dr Kamal Singh Dhaliwal, a clinical psychologist from the Gold Coast. His address, aligning with Rotary’s October theme, encouraged members to prioritise well-being and support one another.
Area Governor Craig Carson also graced the occasion, sharing updates on Rotary District 9620 initiatives and information on the Dick Smith Grant, now open for applications.
With 16 members and guests in attendance, the evening was filled with warmth, laughter, and shared sweets and dinner. Photographer Mayur Brahmbhatt captured the memorable moments, soon to be shared with the community. The event was a shining example of Rotary’s spirit of service and unity in celebration.
