The Indian Consulate in Perth hosted a startup roundtable followed by a special session on Startup Mahakumbh on February 19, 2025, at Duxton Hotel. The event focused on enhancing business ties between India and Western Australia, particularly in key startup sectors driving innovation and growth.
The discussion covered industries such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), cybersecurity, space, defence, IT, healthcare and Medtech, Fintech, and agriculture. The event also served as a prelude to Startup Mahakumbh, a major entrepreneurial summit set to take place in India from April 3-5, 2025.
Perth-based businesses and startups actively participated, exchanging ideas on investment and expansion opportunities, fostering stronger India-WA collaborations in cutting-edge technology and entrepreneurship.
