Sydney, February 19 (Indian Abroad Newsdesk)
The Consulate General of India in Sydney has announced that it will hold an Open House session on March 5, 2026, from 2:30 pm to 3:30 pm at the Consulate premises, offering members of the Indian diaspora an opportunity to engage directly with consular officials.
The initiative aims to create a platform for community members to raise consular and other concerns, seek assistance on various matters and strengthen communication between the Consulate and the Indian-origin community in New South Wales.
According to organisers, the Open House will enable participants to discuss issues related to consular services and explore ways to improve support mechanisms for the diaspora. The session is also intended to encourage greater interaction and build stronger community connections through open dialogue.
Officials said the initiative reflects ongoing efforts to enhance outreach and ensure that members of the Indian diaspora have accessible channels to address their queries and receive guidance from the Consulate.
