MELBOURNE, MAY 2/INDIAN ABROAD NEWSDESK
Representatives of the Telugu Association of Australia Inc. (TAAI) attended a meet-and-greet programme with newly appointed Consul General of India in Melbourne, Anish Rajan, during a community gathering organised at Australian Indian Community Charitable Trust.
The event brought together leaders from various Indian community organisations for discussions on community initiatives, cultural engagement and future collaboration opportunities.
TAAI representatives shared details about the organisation’s activities, initiatives and community outreach programmes during interactions with the Consulate and community leaders.
The association also acknowledged the invitation extended by Federation of Indian Associations of Victoria president Vasan Srinivasan and participation by community leaders, including HSM president Usha Gullapalli
Organisers said the gathering provided an opportunity for meaningful dialogue and strengthened engagement within Melbourne’s multicultural Indian community.
