Unity Cup held in Brisbane promoting community participation

Brisbane, September 23 (Indian Abroad Newsdesk)

 The Unity Cup took place in Brisbane, bringing together teams, coaches, managers, parents, and community members. The tournament served as a platform for sporting engagement and community interaction.

Attendees included Senator Paul Scarr, Margie Nightingale, Councillor Steven Huang, Charis Mullen MP, and Inspector Senior Sergeant Dallas Kowald.

Community leaders Habib Jamal (QMI), Lewis Lee OAM (UEMEA), and Faysel Ahmed Selat (QACC) extended their support to the initiative. The event was supported by sponsors Mortgage Assistants and Kangaroo Care.

Volunteers contributed to the organisation and delivery of the tournament.

The Unity Cup demonstrated the role of sport in fostering connections across multicultural communities.
