The Indian Australian Association of South Australia organised celebrations to mark Vaisakhi Khalsa Sajna Diwas, bringing together members of the Indian community in South Australia for a day of devotion and unity.
The event, held at the IAASA hall, featured Paath Shri Sukhmani Sahib, followed by kirtan and langar, reflecting the spiritual and community-oriented essence of the occasion.
Participants attended in significant numbers, with organisers noting strong community engagement and a shared sense of togetherness on the auspicious day.
The celebrations highlighted the importance of preserving cultural and religious traditions among the diaspora, while fostering community cohesion and collective identity.
Vaisakhi, which commemorates the formation of the Khalsa, remains one of the most significant festivals for the Sikh community and continues to be observed with devotion across India and by Sikh communities worldwide.
