A soulful dance performance on India’s National Song, Vande Mataram, by a local artist in Cairns marked the official community event held during the visit of the High Commissioner and the Consul General on December 12–13.
The performance formed a key highlight of the community programme, reflecting cultural pride and artistic expression while celebrating India’s heritage. Community members attended the event, which was organised as part of the diplomatic engagement during the visit.
