Renowned Veena maestros Ramnath S. Iyer and Gopinath S. Iyer, popularly known as the Iyer Brothers, called on Consul General Dr. Sushil Kumar following their recognition with the Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) 2025 for their outstanding service in promoting Indian classical music in Australia.
They were joined by Vasu Srinivasan, Managing Director of Sarayu Australia. Dr. Kumar commended the Iyer Brothers for their decades-long contribution to Indian cultural arts and their role in building stronger people-to-people links between India and Australia.
