The High Commission of India in Canberra hosted a special session on Yoga and Meditation at the Theo Notaras Multicultural Centre, drawing an enthusiastic and diverse audience.
The session was led by Josh Pryor, CEO of Yoga Australia, who guided participants through techniques aimed at enhancing physical well-being, mental clarity, and inner balance. The event saw strong participation from members of the diplomatic corps, the Australian Defence Force, yoga teachers, and the broader community, reflecting the universal appeal of yoga as a practice that transcends cultural and national boundaries.
Participants praised the session as both energising and restorative, noting that such events help promote cross-cultural dialogue and highlight the relevance of ancient practices in addressing contemporary lifestyle challenges.
The event was part of the High Commission’s continuing efforts to promote India’s cultural heritage and build stronger people-to-people links between India and Australia.
