High Commissioner of India to Australia Nagesh Singh met Malaysia’s High Commissioner to Australia, Datin Paduka Sharrina Abdullah, to discuss opportunities for strengthening cooperation between India and Malaysia.
According to an update from the High Commission of India in Canberra, the meeting focused on the growing India-Malaysia partnership and avenues for expanding bilateral cooperation.
The discussions also covered opportunities to strengthen cooperation in trade, education and people-to-people relations, the High Commission said.
The meeting brought together the representatives of two Indo-Pacific countries with established links to Australia and provided an opportunity to discuss areas of mutual interest and further engagement.
The High Commission’s update described the discussions as part of efforts to deepen bilateral cooperation and strengthen connections between India and Malaysia.
