The Bihar Jharkhand Sabha of Australia and New Zealand (BJSM) has welcomed Vaishali Dixit Singh to its Working Committee for 2026–27, recognising her extensive professional experience, community leadership and commitment to cultural engagement.

Born in Delhi, with family roots in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, and Buxar, Bihar, Vaishali is now based in Melbourne and is widely regarded as a passionate advocate for community building and social participation.

A senior technology professional with more than 17 years of experience, Vaishali currently serves as Senior Service Delivery Manager at HCLTech Australia, supporting operations for Coles. Throughout her career, she has worked across technology, service delivery, operations and people management, developing a reputation for leadership and innovation.

Beyond her professional achievements, Vaishali has been actively involved in community initiatives focused on women’s empowerment, youth engagement, sports and cultural activities. She is known for bringing people together and fostering collaboration through volunteerism and meaningful community connections.

Residing in Glen Waverley, Melbourne, with her husband Arun and their children Shanaya and Adyant, she combines a successful professional career with a strong commitment to family and community service.

BJSM described Vaishali as a creative thinker, artist, author and natural community connector whose vision extends beyond organising events to building lasting relationships based on trust, inclusiveness and shared purpose.

As part of the BJSM leadership team, Vaishali will jointly lead the organisation’s Digital Wing alongside Raghwendra. In this role, she is expected to contribute to digital outreach, communications, social media engagement, branding and community initiatives aimed at strengthening connections among members across Australia and New Zealand.

The organisation said her expertise in technology, strategic planning and community engagement will support BJSM’s efforts to expand its reach and create greater opportunities for cultural and social participation within the Bihar and Jharkhand diaspora.

Welcoming her to the Working Committee, BJSM expressed confidence that her experience, creativity and community-first approach would help advance the organisation’s mission of preserving cultural heritage, fostering unity and inspiring future generations.

The Bihar Jharkhand Sabha of Australia and New Zealand continues to play an important role in connecting members of the diaspora through cultural celebrations, community programmes and initiatives that strengthen ties between people with roots in Bihar and Jharkhand living across the region.
