Canberra to host International Day of Yoga celebrations

Canberra, May 22/ INDIAN ABROAD NEWSDESK

The High Commission of India in Canberra, in association with BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir, Canberra, will organise celebrations for the International Day of Yoga 2026 on    June 6.

The event will be held from 9.30 am to 10.30 am and community members, families and friends have been invited to participate in the programme.

Organisers said the event aims to promote yoga and its message of harmony, wellness and holistic living while highlighting India’s ancient tradition of physical and mental wellbeing.

The programme forms part of the global observance of the International Day of Yoga, celebrated annually to encourage healthy living and mindfulness through yoga practices.
