Consul General of India in Perth Kajari Biswas joined the Ganesh Mahotsav celebrations organised by Maharashtra Mandal Perth, highlighting the Indian community’s cultural traditions and spirit in Western Australia.
The celebrations reflected the devotion and cultural traditions associated with Lord Ganesha and brought members of the Indian community together.
The Consulate General of India in Perth said it was pleased to support initiatives that bring the Indian community together and help preserve and promote India’s rich cultural heritage in Western Australia.
The Ganesh Mahotsav also provided an opportunity for members of the Maharashtra community and the wider Indian diaspora to celebrate their cultural traditions and strengthen community bonds.
