PERTH, APRIL 24/ INDIAN ABROAD NEWSDESK
In a move to promote Hindi language learning and cultural continuity, the Consulate General of India in Perth has donated Hindi books to key community organisations in Western Australia.
The Consulate provided books for both children and adults to the Hindi Language School WA, supporting its efforts to expand access to Hindi education and encourage language learning among students of Indian origin.
As part of the initiative, additional Hindi books were also donated to the Hindi Samaj HSWA to strengthen its cultural and community programmes focused on preserving Indian linguistic heritage.
Community leaders welcomed the initiative, noting that access to quality learning resources plays a crucial role in sustaining language skills and cultural identity among younger generations growing up in Australia.
The Consulate emphasised that such engagements form part of its broader outreach to support educational and cultural initiatives, while reinforcing people-to-people ties within the Indian diaspora in Western Australia.
