Representatives of the Indian Australian Association of South Australia (IAASA) met South Australia’s Minister for Multicultural Affairs and Minister for Small and Family Business Nadia Clancy for discussions on the contribution of the Indian community in the state.
During the interaction, members of the IAASA committee highlighted the growing role of the Indian community in South Australia and discussed issues related to multiculturalism, community engagement and social cohesion.
IAASA also acknowledged the minister’s support for multicultural initiatives and expressed interest in working together to strengthen community connections and inclusiveness across South Australia.
Organisers said the meeting reflected ongoing efforts to promote collaboration between community organisations and government representatives in supporting multicultural communities in the state.
