The Consulate General of India in Brisbane, in collaboration with GOPIO Gold Coast Inc., will organise the 12th International Day of Yoga celebrations at Broadwater Parklands in Southport.
The event is scheduled to take place from 10 am to 11 am and will focus on promoting yoga, wellness and healthy living in a community setting.
Organisers have invited members of the community to participate in the outdoor yoga session and encouraged attendees to bring a yoga mat, towel and water bottle.
The programme is part of the global celebrations marking the International Day of Yoga and aims to promote physical wellbeing, mindfulness and community engagement through the practice of yoga.
