India’s High Commissioner to Australia held an introductory lunch meeting with Japan’s Ambassador to Australia, Suzuki Kazuhiro, to discuss strengthening bilateral cooperation and regional engagement in the Indo-Pacific.
According to the High Commission of India in Canberra, the meeting provided an opportunity for both sides to exchange views on advancing India-Japan cooperation and promoting a free, open and inclusive Indo-Pacific region.
The discussions focused on shared regional interests and collaboration between the two countries in the Indo-Pacific framework.
The meeting was highlighted by the High Commission as part of ongoing diplomatic engagement between India and Japan in Australia.
