SYDNEY, AUGUST 21/INDIAN ABROAD NEWSDESKThe Consulate General of India in Sydney hosted a business interaction with a visiting delegation of Indian jewellery manufacturers and exporters, led by the Gems and Jewellery Export Promotion Council of India (GJEPC), on August 21.
The session brought together the Indian delegation and Australian gems and jewellery companies to explore business opportunities and strengthen commercial ties between the two markets.
Acting Consul General of India Nirav Sutariya delivered the welcome address, while GJEPC Head of Delegation Vijay Mangukiya and Director, International Events, Sridhar Iyengar addressed the gathering and made presentations on the Indian jewellery industry.
The programme also included introductions between the participating companies, followed by one-to-one business meetings and networking sessions.
The visiting delegation subsequently met representatives of established jewellery companies in Sydney, including ABC Bullion, ahead of the International Jewellery Fair at the International Convention Centre (ICC) Sydney.
