The Consulate General of India in Sydney celebrated Raksha Bandhan in collaboration with Brahma Kumaris Australia, highlighting the festival’s message of protection, unity and harmony.
The programme began with reflective remarks by representatives of the Brahma Kumaris, followed by the ceremonial tying of rakhis to staff members of the Consulate.
The gesture underscored values of universal harmony, mutual respect and community engagement, while reinforcing a shared commitment to promoting positive values within the community.
