India’s High Commissioner to Australia Nagesh Singh visited the historic Adelaide Oval during his visit to Adelaide, reflecting on the venue’s long association with Indian cricket and its sporting heritage.
According to a post by the High Commission of India in Canberra, Singh toured the iconic cricket ground and recalled significant moments involving Indian cricket at Adelaide Oval.
The High Commission also said Singh appreciated the efforts being made by Adelaide Oval to preserve and maintain its heritage.
Adelaide Oval is one of Australia’s best-known sporting venues and has hosted major cricket matches involving Australia and India over the years.
The visit highlighted the continuing links between cricket, sporting exchanges and the broader Australia–India relationship.
