Pravachanam session in Melbourne highlights Ramayan wisdom

A spiritual Pravachanam session by Madugula Nagaphani Sarma Garu was held recently in Melbourne, drawing members of the Indian community for an evening of discourse and reflection on the Ramayan.

The session, organised by the Dharma Enlightenment Vedic Association of Australia, featured the renowned scholar presenting a segment from the Ramayan, blending traditional knowledge with poetic narration and spontaneous expression.

Participants described the discourse as deeply engaging, noting the emphasis on devotion, storytelling, and philosophical insight. The Pravachanam explored themes of dharmic wisdom while connecting classical teachings to contemporary life.

Members of the Telugu Association of Australia Inc. were also associated with the event, reflecting strong community participation and support.

Organisers acknowledged the contributions of volunteers and community leaders who facilitated the event, highlighting collaborative efforts in bringing such cultural and spiritual programmes to the diaspora.

The session underscored the continued interest among Indian-origin communities in preserving and engaging with classical texts and traditions through collective learning and cultural gatherings.
