The Telugu Association of Australia Inc. highlighted a significant cultural milestone as the Krishna Ravali School of Indian Music launched its YouTube channel recently, marking a step towards expanding the reach of Indian classical traditions through digital platforms.
The launch event brought together members of the Indian community and music enthusiasts, showcasing how traditional art forms can adapt to contemporary mediums while preserving their essence.
The initiative, led by Rama Rao, was acknowledged for its role in promoting Indian classical music and making it accessible to wider audiences through online platforms.
The evening featured a series of musical performances by Dr Rama Rao, along with Ravi M Ravichandhira and Narmatha Ravichandhira, with organisers noting that the renditions reflected depth, tradition, and emotional richness.
Performances by students across different age groups also formed part of the programme, highlighting the school’s commitment to nurturing talent and sustaining classical music traditions within the diaspora.
