The Queensland Police Service’s South Brisbane District has reinforced its engagement with multicultural communities through a Community Consultative Group Meeting, bringing together community leaders to discuss collaboration, partnerships and public safety initiatives.
The meeting provided an opportunity for representatives from diverse community organisations to exchange ideas, strengthen relationships and discuss ways to enhance cooperation between police and local communities.
Participants highlighted the importance of regular dialogue in building trust, encouraging community participation and addressing issues affecting multicultural communities across the South Brisbane region.
The consultative group is expected to continue serving as a platform for ongoing engagement, with members working closely with Queensland Police over the next two years to support initiatives aimed at creating safer and more connected communities.
