The Indian Australian Association of South Australia (IAASA) will host a Vaisakhi celebration marking Khalsa Sajna Diwas 2026 on April 19 at its community centre in Broadview, bringing together members of the community for a day of devotion and unity.
The event will feature the recitation of Paath Shri Sukhmani Sahib, followed by kirtan and langar, reflecting the spiritual and cultural significance of the festival.
The event will be held between 11:30 AM and 1:30 PM.
Vaisakhi, an important festival in the Sikh calendar, commemorates the formation of the Khalsa and is observed with prayers, community service, and festive gatherings.
The IAASA events highlight the role of community organisations in preserving cultural traditions while promoting unity and inclusivity within South Australia’s multicultural society.
