High Commissioner of India to Australia Nagesh Singh met John Stephenson, CEO of the Western Australian Cricket Association (WACA), at the iconic WACA Ground in Perth to discuss opportunities to strengthen sporting ties between Australia and India.
According to the High Commission of India, the discussions focused on promoting cricketing exchanges and deeper community engagement through the shared passion for the sport.
The meeting also explored opportunities to further strengthen sporting links between the two countries and encourage greater cricket-related engagement.
The High Commission said the discussions highlighted the role of cricket in building connections between the Australian and Indian communities and supporting stronger people-to-people ties.
