The Consulate General of India in Sydney has announced the launch of the 3rd Talent Show Competition 2026 for residents of New South Wales and South Australia.
The competition is open to all age groups and genders, with group categories covering Indian classical dance, Indian folk dance and Indian popular dance.
Organisers said participating groups must consist of between five and 20 members. Applicants are required to submit their group details and a three-minute dance video by July 10.
Shortlisted teams will take part in the competition on July 26 at the Redgum Function Centre in Wentworthville.
According to the Consulate, selected groups will also perform during celebrations marking India’s 80th Independence Day on August 16 at the Darling Harbour Theatre, ICC Sydney.
