The Telugu Association of Australia Inc. (TAAI) concluded its annual sporting calendar with the successful staging of the TAAI Carrom Championship, bringing together members of the community for a weekend of competitive play.
According to TAAI, Narasimha Murthy emerged as the champion, while Pavankumar Patri finished runner-up after a closely contested tournament.
The association said the championship showcased a high standard of skill, strategy and sportsmanship, while strengthening community bonds through friendly competition.
With the conclusion of the event, TAAI officially wrapped up its sporting programme for the year, thanking volunteers, organisers, sponsors, participants and supporters for contributing to a successful season of sporting activities.
The association said it looks forward to returning next year with an expanded calendar of events to further promote community participation and fellowship.
