The Telugu Association of Australia Inc. (TAAI) concluded its Annual General Meeting (AGM) 2026 with the election of a new executive committee, marking the end of the tenure of the Navataram – The VIBE Committee 2025–26.
The AGM witnessed a record attendance of Life Members, who actively participated in discussions, shared suggestions, provided constructive feedback and cast their votes, reflecting the strong engagement and commitment of the Telugu community in Victoria.
Reflecting on its term, the outgoing committee described the past year as one of fresh initiatives, stronger community engagement, learning and collaboration. It thanked volunteers, members and supporters for their encouragement and contributions in organising cultural, social and community activities throughout the year.
The outgoing leadership also expressed gratitude to the Telugu community for the trust placed in the Navataram – The VIBE Committee, saying the opportunity to serve had been both rewarding and inspiring. Special appreciation was extended to volunteers whose efforts helped deliver the association’s programmes and events.
The newly elected Executive Committee was welcomed at the conclusion of the meeting, with members expressing confidence that the incoming team would continue to strengthen TAAI’s role in promoting Telugu language, culture and community engagement across Australia.
