The third edition of the Empowering Migrants Expo, organised by Bhartiya Samaj, brought together government representatives and community stakeholders in Brisbane, highlighting the importance of supporting migrant communities and promoting inclusion.
Consul General of India in Brisbane Neetu M. Bhagotia addressed the expo, which was held for the third consecutive year. According to the Consulate General of India, Brisbane, the event was a celebration of multiculturalism and brought together key stakeholders from different levels of government.
The Consulate said the expo highlighted the importance of supporting and empowering migrant communities while fostering greater inclusion and collaboration.
The event provided an opportunity for representatives from government and the wider community to come together and engage on issues concerning migrant communities.
The Consulate’s update described the expo as a successful initiative that has been organised for three consecutive years, bringing together stakeholders in a multicultural setting.
